Nitin Gadkari arrived in Czech Republic and received a traditional welcome. He also took part in the Ministerial session on Road Safety at the 27th World Road Congress in Prague, where he reiterated India’s commitment to global road safety targets. Nitin Gadkari has been a proponent of transitioning to renewables and green energy. He previously drove a green hydrogen-powered car to Parliament and launched India’s first hydrogen-based advanced “Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle”. He believes green hydrogen is an efficient and sustainable energy pathway for India’s self-reliance. Nitin Gadkari has advocated for a green transition in fuel and anticipates that advancements in green fuel technology will make electric vehicles cost-competitive with petrol-run vehicles in the next two years.
