Several BJP leaders, including PM Narendra Modi, arrived at the party headquarters in Delhi for the Central Election Committee meeting to finalize candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Former Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje also reached the venue, along with party leaders Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Pralhad Joshi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited BJP Chief JP Nadda’s residence earlier. PM Modi, JP Nadda, and Amit Shah, along with other committee members, will participate in the meeting. Around 60 to 70 seats in Rajasthan and 31 seats in Chhattisgarh will be discussed and approved. The BJP is refining its strategies for the poll-bound states, categorizing seats into A, B, C, and D based on the party’s history of performance. Category D includes seats where BJP has faced continuous defeats in the last three elections. This story is published from a syndicated feed and has not been edited by NDTV staff.
