On-demand delivery platform Dunzo announced that Dalvir Suri, one of its co-founders, will be leaving the company. The Reliance Industries-backed startup also revealed plans for a restructuring initiative starting this quarter. Dunzo has faced challenges in securing funding and has implemented measures such as layoffs, deferred salaries, and reducing dark store operations. The specifics of the restructuring were not disclosed in the company’s statement, but employees will receive further details later this week. Dalvir Suri had been with Dunzo since May 2015 and played a crucial role in developing various aspects of the business, particularly the Dunzo Merchant Services division. CEO and co-founder Kabeer Biswas acknowledged Suri’s contributions and expressed confidence in the capable leadership that will continue his work. The departure date of Suri and his replacement were not announced.
