Tel Aviv: In a strong message to Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Israel will finish the war, even though they did not initiate it. Israel has mobilized 300,000 troops in response to Hamas’ attacks, marking the largest mobilization since the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Mr. Netanyahu stated that Israel did not want this war but had been forced into it in a brutal and savage manner. He emphasized that Israel will exact a price that will be remembered by Hamas and its other enemies for decades to come.
The surprise Hamas attack on Saturday morning caused 2,300 Israelis to sustain injuries and over 700 deaths. Mr. Netanyahu condemned Hamas for their actions, describing the attacks on innocent Israelis as mind-boggling and savage. He called them savages for slaughtering families in their homes, massacring young people at an outdoor festival, and kidnapping women, children, and the elderly, including Holocaust survivors. Mr. Netanyahu also branded Hamas as ISIS and called for the forces of civilization to unite against them, just as they did against ISIS.
Expressing his gratitude, Mr. Netanyahu thanked US President Joe Biden and other world leaders for their support. He acknowledged the continuous contact with President Biden and praised the US commitment to the security of Israel. He also expressed appreciation for the unprecedented support from many world leaders.
Mr. Netanyahu concluded his speech by stating that Israel is fighting not only for its own people but for every country that opposes barbarism. He declared that Israel will win this war, and when it does, the entire civilized world will also triumph.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that the Israeli military will launch an offensive against Hamas like never before. Hamas threatened to execute civilian hostages without warning if Israel targets people in Gaza.
