OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal and his wife Geetansha Sood are expecting their first child. The couple, who got married in March, shared the news on social media. Ritesh Agarwal expressed his excitement on Instagram, saying, “I couldn’t be more excited. Our coming of age may have come and gone but I’m glad I got to share it all with you. It’s time to share parenthood!” He shared a picture of himself and his wife together.
Mr Agarwal also reflected on their journey as a couple, saying, “This year, we got married, which was one of the happiest moments of my life. And my family and I navigated through various highs and lows. Now, as Geet and I reflect on (and process) our transition from being children, to teenagers, to partners, to parents, I couldn’t be more excited,”
In his post, Mr Agarwal praised his wife as the “only one constant” who has been by his side through all the ups and downs. He mentioned their 11-year-long journey together, from when they met as teenagers to now as they embark on this new phase of their lives.
Mr Agarwal concluded his post by asking his followers for recommendations on nappies, strollers, and toys. He also welcomed innovative startup ideas for parenting. The internet quickly congratulated the couple and flooded the comments section with well-wishes and reactions.
