Saira Banu, the veteran actress, took to Instagram to reminisce about her experience working with Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna in the 1976 film Hera Pheri. She described it as a “happy and enjoyable time” and praised director Prakash Mehra for allowing them to have a free hand in the outrageously funny scenes. Banu also mentioned her previous collaborations with Vinod Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan in other films. She shared that they had a relaxed atmosphere on set and often worked together to make the scenes riotously funny. Banu’s favorite scene from the film involves her speaking Marathi while Khanna tries to curb Bachchan’s zealous attempts to sit next to her. She urged fans to watch and enjoy these scenes.

In another Instagram post, Banu shared her experience of working with Feroz Khan in the 1969 film Aadmi Aur Insaan. She revealed that this was her first collaboration with Khan and praised him for being well-mannered and soft-spoken. Banu mentioned shooting a glamorous song number on the first day of filming, where Mumtaz was singing seductively while twirling around the heroes and herself.

Earlier, Banu talked about her late husband Dilip Kumar, describing him as super organized but forgetful about special days like birthdays and anniversaries. She shared throwback photographs and a video from her birthday album to commemorate the occasion. Dilip Kumar passed away in 2021 at the age of 98 after a prolonged illness.
