The US State Department has stated that it is closely coordinating with Canada regarding the allegations of Indian government involvement in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller made these remarks during a daily press briefing. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had previously claimed that the Indian government was responsible for Nijjar’s fatal shooting. However, India has categorically denied these allegations. The US has been urging the Indian government to cooperate with Canada’s investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, India has suspended its visa services in Canada and issued a travel advisory for its citizens to exercise caution due to growing anti-India activities in the country.
