Outrage on the Internet as American Woman Destroys Street Performer’s Piano and Robs His Tips

A drunk woman in Georgia, US, has caused outrage after she knocked down a street performer’s piano and stole his tips. The incident was caught on video and shows the woman interrupting the performer, named Andrew, while he was playing Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”. She first rudely placed her hand on the instrument and randomly pressed down on the keys. She then returned for a second time, knocking over the piano and taking money from the tip jar before fleeing the scene. Passersby expressed their disapproval of her actions and helped Andrew pick up his piano. Some even offered him money and asked if he was okay. Andrew, in the video, expressed his gratitude to those who supported him and said that it restores his faith in humanity. He called it one of the worst things that had happened to him while street performing. The internet reacted strongly to the video, condemning the woman’s behavior and praising the kindness of the strangers who helped Andrew. Others called for her to face consequences for her actions. The video showed the “good and bad of society”. The woman, identified as Shauntae Heard, has since apologized for her behavior and asked for her family to be left out of it. She also personally apologized to Andrew.
