BJP’s Support to Palestine in Israel-Hamas Conflict Creates Unique Stance After Congress’ Move

The BJP has accused the Congress of supporting terror organizations after the Congress Working Committee expressed its support for the rights of the Palestinian people. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi criticized the Congress for openly backing violence and questioned how the party would protect the nation and its citizens with this stance. Amid the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Congress Working Committee reiterated its support for the rights of the Palestinian people while also calling for an immediate ceasefire and negotiations. The CWC expressed its dismay and anguish over the war in the Middle East, which has resulted in over a thousand deaths. The Congress had previously condemned the attacks on Israel and emphasized that violence is not a solution. Israel has experienced an unprecedented attack by Hamas, resulting in numerous casualties on both sides.
