A man in Israel miraculously escaped a group of armed Hamas operatives in his Tesla EV, surviving multiple gunshots to his legs, hands, and skull. The incident occurred after Hamas launched thousands of rockets from Gaza into southern Israel. The man, known as “C,” a resident of Kibbutz Mefalsim and a member of the settlement’s emergency squad, was called into action following the rocket attack.
After rushing to his Tesla Model 3 Performance, “C” began driving to the assembly point, despite his Apple Watch being rendered useless by shrapnel. Photos shared on the Tesla Israel Telegram channel revealed the aftermath of the chase, with the car sustaining approximately 100 bullet holes and a cracked windshield. The terrorists, unaware that it was an electric vehicle, targeted the front and back of the car, hoping to disable it. “C” managed to escape, driving at a speed of 112 mph on flat tires. The car, equipped with dual drive and boasting more than 530 horsepower, withstood the damage caused by the bullets.
The car eventually had to be forcibly entered by rescue teams in order to extract “C” and transport him to the hospital for treatment. Despite sustaining injuries to his legs, hand, and skull, “C” praised the Tesla’s durability, stating that the battery did not overheat and the car was still drivable. Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, expressed his relief at “C” surviving the harrowing ordeal.
This incident occurred amidst a deadly escalation of conflict between Israel and Hamas. Israel retaliated with airstrikes, causing extensive destruction in Gaza. The region has experienced a significant loss of life and countless injuries, with Israel launching a ground offensive on the Strip and vowing to eliminate the Hamas group.
