Boney Kapoor, the producer and husband of late superstar Sridevi, has finally spoken out about her tragic death. In an interview with The New Indian, Kapoor revealed that Sridevi followed a strict diet and experienced blackouts due to her low-salt intake. He also discussed the interrogation and lie detector test he underwent following her death, explaining that it was determined to be an accidental drowning. Kapoor shared that the Dubai police confirmed there was no foul play and that the investigation was prompted by pressure from the Indian media. He also recalled a conversation with south superstar Nagarjuna, who mentioned Sridevi’s history of crash diets and injuries. Kapoor expressed his concerns about her diet and how he tried to encourage her to consume salt. Sridevi and Kapoor got married in 1996 and have two daughters together.
