A man in the UK was shocked to find a metal screw in his meal from KFC. Callum Feehan, 25, purchased a meal from KFC’s outlet in Gillingham and discovered the screw when he ate a handful of chips. He expressed concern about potentially breaking a tooth if he had bitten into the screw. Feehan reached out to KFC on social media, but they only responded after he threatened to involve Environmental Health. However, they have not replied since he sent them a photo of the object. Feehan was disappointed with the company’s lack of response and accountability, especially since he frequents that particular KFC location. In response, a KFC spokesperson stated that they have strict processes to prevent foreign objects from entering their food and are investigating the matter urgently. They also assured Feehan that they will keep him updated on their findings. Earlier, another individual found a spider in their KFC chicken wrap at a different outlet in South Wales. The customer named Luke Hatherall claimed that the manager did not seem concerned and offered a refund as though similar incidents were commonplace.
