Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called for an immediate ceasefire in a conversation with his Iranian counterpart. The Kremlin also highlighted its relations with both Israel and the Palestinians. It urged for a peaceful settlement, emphasizing the potentially dangerous consequences if the conflict were to escalate further.
