Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid a visit to the Kirti Nagar furniture market in Delhi on Thursday to interact with carpenters and try his hand at woodworking. This marked his third such initiative in the national capital, following his meetings with fruit and vegetable vendors in Azadpur Mandi and porters at the Anand Vihar railway station.

During his visit to the furniture market, Gandhi engaged with the carpenters, listened to their concerns, and attempted to build some furniture items. He praised the carpenters for their craftsmanship and appreciated their skills in creating durable and beautiful pieces. Gandhi shared his experience on X and stated that he had learned a lot from the carpenters.

The Congress party also shared pictures of Gandhi’s visit, showcasing him using various furniture tools. They mentioned that the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” (India Unite Journey) is still ongoing, indicating Gandhi’s efforts to connect with people ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

This visit is part of Gandhi’s ongoing outreach program, which has seen him interact with farmers, women laborers, and truck drivers to understand their problems and address their concerns. Gandhi’s efforts aim to establish a strong connection with the people as he prepares for the upcoming elections.
