After Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot questioned Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar over his frequent visits to the poll-bound state, Dhankhar responded by emphasizing the importance of respecting constitutional positions. He stated that it is not appropriate to unnecessarily involve a person holding a constitutional post in politics.

Addressing the students and faculty members of Mody University of Science and Technology in Laxmangarh, Dhankhar expressed his concern about comments that question his visits to the state. He emphasized the need for respect towards constitutional positions and the importance of working together to serve the people.

In response to the criticism from Chief Minister Gehlot, Dhankhar stated that all individuals, regardless of their position, are servants of the country. He emphasized the need for sensitivity and not creating a public perception that drags a person holding a constitutional post into politics.

Dhankhar also shared a poem that he had written, expressing his confusion about why someone would have a problem with him visiting their home.

Chief Minister Gehlot has previously criticized Dhankhar for his repeated visits to the state, particularly during the election season. However, Dhankhar defended himself by emphasizing the importance of respecting constitutional positions and the potential negative impact on democracy if a person holding such a post is unnecessarily involved in politics.
