Six people, including five of a family, were killed in a violent clash in Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred in Deoria district, where two groups had long been embroiled in a property dispute. The conflict escalated when a village strongman, Prem Yadav, visited Satyaprakash Dubey’s residence to discuss their rivalry. However, during their conversation, a woman attacked Yadav with a sharp weapon, leading to his murder. Subsequently, upon learning of Yadav’s death, a large mob of his supporters stormed Dubey’s house and brutally killed him, as well as four other members of his family, including his wife and children. The police have arrested two individuals thus far and have launched an investigation into the incident. Due to the severity of the situation, heavy police presence has been established in the area. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed district officials to offer full support to the affected families. He has also urged the police to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter and hold the perpetrators accountable.
