The action-drama film Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma and starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, collected around Rs 17 crores on its seventh day in India. This marked a slight growth in its collections and can be attributed to the fact that the seventh day fell on a Saturday. The film’s seven day cume stands at around Rs 207.75 crores nett, making it the fifth best first week for a Hindi film in the Hindi language in India.
Tiger 3 entered the Rs 200 crore club on its seventh day, making it the fifth highest first week for a Hindi film in Hindi. The film is part of the much loved YRF Spy Universe and is the third installment of the Tiger franchise.
The film is expected to face a drop in collections on its second Sunday due to the India vs Australia Cricket World Cup Final. Tiger 3 will need to hold post the Cricket World Cup Final in order to break into the Rs 300 crore club or not.
